Joining the Photographers.co.uk directory really can help you to attract new customers. I am not going to pretend that as soon as you join you will be swamped by new clients, but based on feedback there is no doubt that photographers do pick up solid, additional business through the directory.
In April 2008 the directory received 200,000 searches. A rate of over 6,500 per day. As at the 1st May 2008 there are only just over 2000 U.K. based photographers registered. Listings are displayed in random order. I believe this is the fairest way. This gives everyone a crack at the top positions.
As soon as your details have been entered and the entry paid for your listing should appear immediately. Always check that your entry is exactly as you expect it to be.
It is easy to change an entry at any time. This is totally under your control. You will find a link allowing you to do this at the foot of this page.
I've kept the cost of registering down to just £29.99 + vat per year to enable as many photographers as possible to register. The more photographers that register the better level of coverage I can offer. This will ensure that people can find exactly what they are looking for. The low annual fee also reduces any possible financial risk to you. All fees received help me to maintain and improve the site.
If within the first 30 days you change your mind for any reason at all. I will happily refund the registration fee. No problem at all. This is a personal promise.
For an additional £19.99 + vat you can also have your own exhibition on the site. As part of the exhibition four thumbnail photos are added to you directory listing. This helps to make it stand out.
