How to Upload Pictures
To upload images visit:
http://galleries.photographers.co.uk
When you visit the page you may have to log in first. Depending on your computer settings you may already be logged in. To login click on the word Login. This appears to the right on the purple navigation bar just below where it says Picture of the Week, Featured Photographers and Upload Help.
Once you have logged in you should see a link that says Upload Photos. This also appears to the right on the purple navigation bar near Login as explained above.
First you select the photos you wish to upload by browsing your computer. You do this by clicking on the Browse… button. For each photo you wish to upload click on the Upload/Submit button.
The next screen allows you to add information about each picture. After you have added the information, click on the Process Files button to upload your photos.
If you can please spare some time to add your own comments to other people's photos. You don't have to write page after page. Just leave a comment saying what you like and dislike. Leaving comments also makes it more likely that you will receive feedback about your own shots.
Posting Guidelines
There are very few guidelines. You are welcome to post here whether you are a professional or amateur. The philosophy of the galleries is to make them open to everyone. With this in mind please consider that your pictures may be viewed by minors and ladies too. Therefore I would be really grateful if you did not post any material that may be considered adult or offensive in any way at all. If you have any doubts about a photograph please email me a copy before posting so that I can let you know whether it is acceptable or not.
