The Photographers.co.uk Wedding Service has been operating successfully for a number of years. Over the period it has provided photographers with bookings for an estimated 3,000+ weddings.
How the Service Works
The Photographers.co.uk Wedding service generates leads for photographers. A bride or groom visits Photographers.co.uk and requests quotes from photographers who cover the area where they are planning to get married. The information they need to provide includes the town or city where the marriage is taking place, their budget, an email contact address and when the wedding is taking place. They can also leave contact telephone numbers and any extra details they feel will be useful.
The requests are then checked and sent out to photographers in a batch once each working day. Each lead is matched against photographers to ensure they cover the areas and work to the potential client's budget. On receipt of a lead the photographer contacts the bride/groom with details of their services.
Joining the Wedding Service
To join the service photographers specify the email address they would like leads sent to and select the areas and budgets they wish to receive leads for. Photographers also need to add credit to their account. Opening credit is set at £30 + vat. On joining the service an account is set up.
Places are limited to 10 photographers for each area/budget combination. This means that anyone requesting quotes should receive a fair selection of quotes, but will not be swamped. It also gives photographers a fair chance of making a booking.
Using Your Account
When you log into your account you can call up different reports. These reports show you leads that have been sent out to you, payments made to date and a listing of areas and budgets you have registered for. There is also an option to top up your credit.
Charges for Leads
Leads are charged at different rates depending on the budget level the bride/groom has set. Current charges are as follows:
Budget £250 - £500 Price 0.50p
Budget £501 - £1000 Price 0.60p
Budget £1001 - £1500 Price 0.70p
Budget £1501 - £2000 Price 0.80p
Budget £2001 - £3000 Price 0.90p
Budget £3000+ Price 1.00p
Budget Not Supplied Price 0.50p

Each time leads are sent out to you your credit balance is reduced by the cost of each lead.
