Adam Ososki is a photographer with a passion for live music and band photography, working primarily in and around Reading, hence the name adamreading photography. Adam strives, through his photography, to transport people back to a gig, or to take them there if they were not able to be there in person.
Adam is no stranger to photography, having studied A-level photography over 20 years ago, although it is only since meeting his wife that he has rekindled this early interest. From humble beginnings, namely camera phones and compact digital cameras, Adam has grown in confidence and skill, progressing to digital SLRs and culminating in his current set-up with a Canon 5D MkII.
Alongside his grassroots approach to gig photography, Adam has also invested in a range of equipment to facilitate studio photography, and has been able to branch out into Weddings, formal portraiture as well as band promotional material.
To date, and since taking a more focussed, professional approach to his work, adamreading photography has photographed many diverse acts including Radiohead, Placebo, James Blunt, Queens of the Stone Age, The Kaiser Chiefs, The Hoosiers, Primal Scream, The Zutons, The View, Jools Holland and Airbourne, plus many many more. Most recently, through his work with agency Retna, Adam has also photographed the entire Reading Festival, putting both his photographic skill and stamina to the ultimate test.
